The Sword in the Stone Ceremony - Fantasyland

Takes place several times throughout the day, check the
Guide
Map for exact times. Guide maps can be picked up as you
enter the park.

This ceremony features Merlin, who will select several people
from the audience to attempt to pull the magical sword,
Excalibur, from the stone.
-
One lucky boy or girl will be able to pull the sword from the
stone and be appointed King or Queen of the Realm.

Takes place in from of Cinderella's Golden Carrousel.
-
There are sign language interpreted
performances on Mondays and Thursdays at 2:00 pm - arrive 10
minutes before the show and stand in the left section of
the audience.

Cinderella's Wishing Well - Fantasyland

Throw a coin into this fountain - there is a surprise special
effect.

All money is donated to children's charities.

Located along the pathway that leads to Tomorrowland.

Storytime with Belle - Fantasyland

Takes place about 5 times daily at the Fairytale Garden.

adult participation. If your child might want to

Takes place several times a week - check the Guide Map for
exact dates and times.

This is a trivia quest - You are given a list
of about 18 questions. Some of these you will know, others
you will have to visit the attractions to get the answers.
Some of the attractions in the past have been: Swiss
Family Treehouse, Hall of Presidents, the Liberty Belle
Riverboat, Tiki Room, and the WDW Railroad.

You then return to Adventureland with the
answers in the afternoon, at about 2:30 pm.

Prizes for this can be: Front of the Line
passes (3 for each of you - for everyone who participates);
winners also get something else like their choice of more Front
of the Line passes, or VIP treatment for the parade (reserved
curbside seating, free popcorn, and free soda).

Dapper Dans - Main Street, U.S.A.

This is a barber shop quartet that strolls Main Street.

They can also be found at the Barber Shop on Main Street where
they will serenade you while you get a hair cut.

The Dapper Dans wear straw hats and striped vests, and tap
dance and joke around while harmonizing.

Casey's Corner Piano - Main Street, U.S.A.
-
A pianist can sometimes be found playing a snow-white upright
piano at this Main Street eatery called Casey's Corner
Restaurant.
-
The piano is outside, along with plenty of tables and chairs,
so you don't have to be a patron of the restaurant to enjoy the
show.
-
The pianist plays about 7 times per day, for 20
minutes.

Flag Retreat - Main Street, U.S.A.
-
At about 5:10 pm each evening, a color guard marches to Town
Square, while patriotic music plays.
-
They take down the American flag from the flagpole, then
release a flock of white homing pigeons, symbolic of the dove of
peace. The birds flow back to their home, which is behind
Cinderella's castle.

Starlight Cafe´ - it's in the room that the stage is in.

This takes place most days, a number of times
throughout the day.

Mickey and friends appear throughout the day near City Hall on
Main Street.

In Adventureland, Character Congoasis is the place to see
characters from Aladdin, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King.
-
In Fantasyland, you will see characters from Alice in
Wonderland, such as Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts,
and Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee. They can be found near
The Mad Tea Party ride. The Fantasyland Character Festival
is a place to see an assortment of characters, and you can visit
with Ariel in her Grotto, also in Fantasyland.

In Frontierland - go to the Splash Mountain Courtyard (at the
Splash Mountain Exit) to see characters from Song of the South.

See Belle at "Storytime with Belle" in Fantasyland.

See Merlin at the "Sword in the Stone" Ceremony in
Fantasyland.

In Mickey's Toontown Fair, you get to see a large variety of
characters, including princes, princesses, Mickey, Minnie, and
some villains. They can be found inside the Judge's Tent,
and inside Toontown Hall of Fame, typically from park opening to
park closing.

Characters can also be seen in parades.

Grand Marshall of the Parade

You and your group could be chosen after
entering the Magic Kingdom to be the Grand Marshall's.
-
If you are chosen, you will get to ride in the
car that precedes the parade.

They will announce your names and home
town(s).
-
You will be given Mickey Mouse ears to wear,
and will wave at everyone lined up for the parade.

Sign language interpreted performances usually
take place on Mondays & Thursdays
at the Liberty Square Viewing Area - arrive at least 20 minutes
before the start of the parade.
Stand in the designated viewing area next to the Liberty Bell,
