* Guests can take a bus from the Settlement Depot directly to the
Transportation and Ticket Center (for the Magic Kingdom) and
to Disney-MGM Studios.
* Guests can take a bus from the Outpost Depot directly to Epcot, Downtown
Disney/Typhoon Lagoon, and Animal
Kingdom or Blizzard Beach.
* Guests can take Purple, Orange & Yellow buses to the Settlement and
Outpost depots from the bus stops at the campsites and cabins.
* From Fort Wilderness marina, you can take the green boat launch to reach
the Magic Kingdom; and you can take the blue boat launch to go to
Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary Resort.
* Buses from Fort Wilderness to Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon,
Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian and Grand Floridian begin to
make their rounds at 9 a.m.
Electric Carts:
The Bike Barn: 407-824-2742 is open 8 am to 6 pm. Call this
number to reserve an electric cart. The electric cart line is open 8
am to 6 pm. In order to rent an electric cart, you must be 18
years of age and have a valid driver's license. In order to drive an
electric cart, you must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid
driver's license. The cost (as of 1/07) is $47 plus tax. Electric carts can be
reserved up to one year in advance. Carts can be checked out at 1 pm
and returned by 11 am.

Private horse-drawn carriage rides are now
available nightly at Fort Wilderness. The excursions, which
are offered from 6 to 10 p.m., appeal both to couples and to families out
for a scenic ride. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance by
calling (407) 824-2832. Carriages depart from the area in front
of Crockett's Tavern at Pioneer Hall. The price is $30 for a 30-minute
ride. Guests may pay by cash and resort room charge cards. Credit
cards are not accepted.
