HAUNTED MANSION

The line moves quickly at this continuous-loading attraction.  This is a good place to try if the lines are long else-where.  

Small children might find this scary.  Although the attraction itself isn't really designed to frighten, the mere name of the attraction can make a young child afraid.  Use your own judgment before placing your children on this ride.

As you approach the mansion, you will hear howls.  Are they werewolves?

You will pass a graveyard.  Take a moment to read the humorous inscriptions on the gravestones.  

Once you enter the mansion, you are ushered into a room.  

SPOILER ALERT** This room is actually an elevator.  After a brief humorous ride, you reach the line for the "doom buggies".  The line moves swiftly as the buggies are on a belt that is constantly moving. You will be taken through a series of different rooms and hallways, where you will see 999 happy haunts.  Some haunts will jump up unexpectedly and some are loud, which could frighten little kids at times.  The ride is narrated.  Be sure to watch for the hitchhiking ghost at the end of the ride!  SPOILER OVER**

Have you ever noticed the wedding ring in the cement as you exit the Haunted Mansion? The story goes that the Bride of the Mansion decided to play a joke on her fiancé on their wedding day. She hid herself in a trunk. Well, she couldn’t get it open and he didn’t find her in time. He then flung her wedding ring outside the window, then proceeded to hang himself (you see him inside, prior to boarding the doom buggies).

Look for the wedding ring embedded in the cement outdoors, after you exit the ride, and before you get to the pet cemetery. 

The Raven – based on the story, The Raven, by Edgar Allen Poe, you might notice that the raven follows you throughout the Haunted Mansion attraction. He can be spotted four times inside the mansion. See if you can spot him on your next ride!
